Next meeting of Digbeth Resident's Group 7pm Monday 10th December 2011
Dear All The next meeting of Digbeth Resident's Group will be at 7pm Monday 10th
December 2011at the Paragon Hotel. Those people who managed to attend the
last meeting on 6th December 2010 will know that it was excellent lively
and well attended meeting where Andy Munro talked further about the future
of Digbeth and how residents can get involved in the planning and
regeneration process. Residents agreed at the meeting that at the next meeting on 10th January
2011 Julie Brown from Birmingham University will lead a visioning exercise
on the sort of Digbeth residents would like to see in the future. This
vision can then be fed into the Digbeth Summit which Andy Munro will be
calling in February or March 2011. The Group will also be looking at what practical steps they can take to
transform Digbeth for example by starting a resident's grow site and
planting trees! Residents also agreed to think about how the group could
become constituted and thus be able to look for funding for projects in the
